Donoussa Eating Information
·There are hospitable small taverns, where you can even bring your own fish to have it cooked, as well as elegant and luxurious restaurants.
·It would be a pity thought not to taste some of the special local dishes.
"Patatato" (meat with red sauce and potatoes, "kavourmas" (pieces of pok fried in lard), "yiaprakia" (stuffed cabbage leaves with rice and/or minced meat), "axialomizithra" (type of cheese made of yogurt).
On special occasions such as weddings or christenings you can try pasteli wrapped in lemon tree leaves and at Easter roasted goat stuffed with rice.
Aposperitis (location)
Just a few metres from the harbour and precisely in the middle of the beautiful beach of Stavros, you will meet our familial enterprise "Aposperitis". Our lodging is constituted by double/twins rooms and apartments (with two rooms). You will find us open all the year round. In the ground floor you will find Aposperitis restaurant with the better local dishes.
